The Book Project

We are currently actively working on translation of Igor Zabel texts in the English language. The book is expected to be published in spring 2012 by JRP Ringier in their high quality Documents Series.

We are also offering presentations and distribution of the book
Continuing Dialogues for educational institutions like higher level of elementary schools, high schools, art schools and art academies, libraries etc. The presentation can take the form of a lecture or the workshop.

The Award Ceremony

On 10th of December 2010 the award ceremony will be held in Barcelona, Spain accompanied by a conference on Writing Art History at the Museum of Contemporary of Art (MACBA).

The Award ceremony starts at 8 pm.

Upcoming Igor Zabel Award for Culture and Theory 2010!

Piotr Piotrowski, art historian and Director of the National Museum in Warsaw, honoured as outstanding art historian of the Central Eastern European region, is the recipient of this year’s Igor Zabel Award for Culture and Theory.

Additionally to the award four working grants are given to the Croatian-British writers and curators Maja and Reuben Fowkes, to the interdisciplinary Peace Institute from Ljubljana, to the Romanian curator Raluca Voinea, and to the Bratislava based art historian Daniel Grúň.
